Gourmet evenings at the Alpenhof
The true taste of South Tyrol: original Tyrolean Speck bacon, fresh cheeses, homemade breads – plus traditional Schüttelbrot. On Monday evenings, our local specialities are on the menu, and your aperitif is on the house! This is when we present the weekly programme at our Alpenhof Hotel in South Tyrol, including an organised tour for our guests, and an introduction to the region and its inhabitants. If you like, afterwards you can order a mouth-watering Kaiserschmarren.
Alfred our chef is back again. He will cook you delicious dishes of the day. Our ever-popular gourmet evenings do cost extra, and you need to book in advance. On warm summer evenings, we organise barbecues in the hotel garden with a variety of local and other Italian specialities on the menu. On our Mediterranean evenings, classic Italian cuisine (including a large salad buffet and a "spaghettata") dominates the menu. In October, with the onset of autumn, we invite you to partake in our seasonal Törggelen, which includes savoury dumplings and cabbage, smoked meats and roasted chestnuts. Not to mention, of course, Sußer: the new wine!
