Current weather conditions in South Tyrol

In the afternoon, only the odd rain shower will pass through, with dry spells predominating. However, it will remain heavily overcast, with sunny spells being rare. Overnight, as the cold front moves through, the rain showers will become more frequent again and the snow line will drop to around 1.500 m. During the day, temperatures range between 12° and 16°.

In most valleys, it will be dry from early on with a cold north wind; the last showers in the upper Puster valley and the Dolomite valleys will soon ease off. At the same time, the clouds will clear from the Vinschgau valley, and the sun will subsequently break through across a wide area. Temperatures will rise to 10° in the Wipptal valley, where the Föhn is blowing, and up to 18° in the lowlands.

On Friday, some thicker patches of cloud will pass through, but there will also be sunny spells in between. Rain showers are possible towards the evening. Saturday will start off mostly cloudy, but it will clear up later on and the sun will shine, at least at times. Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with occasional showers in the northern parts of the region. On Monday, there will be a pleasant mix of sun and clouds, and it will remain dry.
