Accommodation & location
Alpenhof Lodge is located in Saltaus in the southern Passeiertal, just a few kilometres from Merano. The location combines peaceful surroundings in nature with quick access to the town, the mountains and many leisure activities.
The Alpenhof Lodge offers modern and spacious holiday apartments in South Tyrol in different sizes. They are ideal for couples, families and active travellers who appreciate comfort, privacy and an independent stay.
The cable car to the hiking and skiing area is within walking distance.
Wellness & leisure
Guests can enjoy a wellness area with indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and whirlpool – perfect for relaxing after hiking or bike tours.
Opening hours
Indoor pool: daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Sauna & steam bath: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm (except Tuesday and Thursday)
Please bring your own towel for the sauna.
There are two clay tennis courts in the village.
Mobility & Südtirol Guest Pass
All guests receive the Südtirol Guest Pass Passeiertal Premium, which allows free use of buses and trains throughout South Tyrol.
Also included:
Spring Card – free daily use of the Hirzer cable car from Easter until 31 May.
The bus stop is located directly in front of the property. Buses run every 30 minutes, making a car-free holiday easily possible.
Free parking spaces, partly covered, are available directly at Alpenhof Lodge.
Bicycles
A bike shop is located next door. Bikes for all needs are available for rent.
There is a garage for bicycles with charging facilities. Cycle routes start directly at the house. Bicycles can also be transported by the Hirzer cable car up to the middle station.

Check-in: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Check-out: until 10:00 am
Please inform us if you arrive later. If necessary, we will leave the key and send you the access information.
We always enjoy getting to know our guests personally – it is important to us to welcome you in person. Please let us know your approximate arrival time so we can be on site. Upon arrival, identification documents are required for all guests. If you arrive later, we will leave the key and send you the access details.
Final cleaning: €35 – €90 depending on apartment size.

Breakfast & local shopping
At certain times (Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, Corpus Christi as well as July and August) we offer a regional breakfast buffet, otherwise on request.

No bread delivery service.
A regional grocery store is located at the campsite only 5 minutes on foot. Additional supermarkets can be found in Riffian or St. Martin (approx. 5 km).
The village offers a bistro, restaurant and pizzeria. Our bar and the restaurant with pizzeria are currently closed.
Dogs
Dogs are very welcome. The fee is €18 per day.
Please bring a blanket or dog bed.
Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the property.
There is a designated dog area and beautiful walking routes directly from the house.
Some apartments offer a garden or direct outdoor access.
